Music, Dance and Drama

CHEA Choirs

The CHEA Choirs, founded in 1991, provide musical training for young people. Over 200 singers from the Charlotte and Union County areas, ranging in ages 5-19, participate in six choirs. Their desire is to produce skilled musicians who seek to serve others and glorify God through singing. The choirs rehearse one afternoon each week and perform 2 joint concerts each year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. The individual choirs do smaller concerts on their own at neighboring retirement communities and various community functions. Auditions are required. Registration information and calendar is available at the CHEA Choirs website.
